đź“„ About Duly Noted
For the lawyers who know there’s more to the job than just doing the job.
Duly Noted is a short weekly note on commercial judgment, legal work, and the real job behind the job title.
It’s read by thoughtful people across the profession - from GCs and partners to founders, operators, and sharp juniors quietly building without a blueprint.
Each note is designed to sharpen how you think - commercially, strategically and personally.
Because good judgment is what earns trust, creates opportunity, and sets great lawyers apart.
If you’re trying to grow - not just climb - I hope this helps.
One note. Once a week.
Read it in 3 minutes. Think about it for days.
✍️ About Me
I’m a UK lawyer focused on venture capital and startups. I trained in Big Law and now lead the Corporate and Fundraising team at Founders Law.
Duly Noted began as a way to think out loud - to move beyond repetition, sharpen judgment, and better understand what really moves the needle.
Everyone’s welcome.
But if you’ve ever felt like the system wasn’t built with you in mind - I hope this helps.
P.S. I support Liverpool FC. Lifelong. Quietly obsessed.
